【ジェンダーと社会】
この授業では、ジェンダー学の基本的な概念・理論を学ぶことで「男女格差」や「LGBTQ＋（性的少数者）への差別」などの問題をより深く理解することを目的とします。また、正義論の視点からジェンダー問題を不正義と捉えることで、ジェンダー差異を超えて人が人らしく生きるために何が必要かを理解することも目的とします。授業の序盤では、暴力・経済・文化の分野におけるジェンダー不正義を検証しつつ、長年に渡るジェンダー主流化政策やジェンダー平等運動にも関わらずジェンダー不正義が是正されない原因を学びます。授業の後半では、ジェンダー不正義の是正に成果を上げた取り組みを、歴史的・グローバルな視野から学びます。
【開発経済学Ⅰ】
第二次世界大戦以降、世界の国々は「開発＝GDP増加」との前提に立って開発を推し進めてきました。結果として開発途上国を含む多くの国々でGDPの増加が達成されましたが、このような開発は、格差と貧困・環境破壊・人権侵害などの深刻な問題も我々に突きつけてきました。この授業では、「開発とは何か？」という問いに向き合うことで、人が人らしく生きることのできる開発のあり方について考えます。特に、ノーベル賞経済学者アマルティア・センの「人間開発」の考え方を深く理解することで、SDGs（持続可能な開発目標）の達成に資する開発のあり方を学びます。
